Privacy Policy

Quman is a product of Jupiter Labs ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website, the Quman waitlist, and the Quman iOS app.

Information we collect

When you join the waitlist

We collect the email address you submit, and basic technical information your browser sends (such as approximate region and device type). We use this only to contact you about Quman.

When you use the Quman app

Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture.
Content from accounts you connect. With your permission, Quman reads content from services you connect, such as your email, calendar, and todo lists, so it can understand your work and prepare finished tasks for you.
Work you approve. When you approve an action, we record that you authorized it and the result (for example, that a reply was sent).
Usage and diagnostic data. Basic logs that help us keep the service reliable and secure.

How Quman accesses your connected accounts

Quman connects to your accounts in read-only mode. It can look at your information to do its work, but it cannot send, change, or delete anything on your behalf until you approve a specific action. Every action waits for your one-tap approval before it happens.

Google user data and Limited Use

Quman's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

We use Google user data only to provide and improve the features you see in Quman.
We do not use Google user data for advertising.
We do not sell Google user data, and we do not share it except as needed to run the service (see Service providers below) or as required by law.
We do not use Google user data to train generalized artificial intelligence models. Human review of Google user data is not performed except with your explicit consent, to resolve a specific support issue, for security purposes, or as required by law.

How we use your information

To run Quman: read your connected sources, prepare finished tasks, and carry out the actions you approve.
To keep you informed, including waitlist and product updates.
To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

Service providers

We share information with a small number of vendors that process data on our behalf, under contracts that limit how they may use it:

Supabase for authentication and database storage.
Anthropic as our model provider, operated under a zero-data-retention arrangement, meaning your prompts and content are not retained by Anthropic after a request is processed.
Trigger.dev to run background tasks.
Vercel to host this website.

We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can ask us to delete your account and purge your associated data at any time by emailing quman@jupiterapp.io. In the app, disconnecting a source stops further access to it. We will complete deletion requests within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal obligations.

Security

We protect your information with encryption in transit, access controls, and the principle of least privilege. Our handling of Google user data is subject to independent security assessment (CASA) as required by Google. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.

Children

Quman is not directed to children. Do not use Quman if you are under 16, and do not provide us with a child's personal information.

International users

We may process and store information in countries other than where you live. Where we do, we take steps to protect it consistent with this policy and applicable law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
